Deb wins Wingbowl XIX, Eric still leads 10-9

Deb took home Wingbowl XIX with a convincing win over Eric in the 19th iteration of the series.  Next year marks the 20th Wingbowl.

Eric Wins Wingbowl XVIII, Takes 10-8 lead

Its official, Eric wins his 5 consecutive Wingbowl, now leading the competition 10-8.

Eric Wins Wingbowl XVII, takes 9-8 lead

Well, its over.  Eric wins his 4th consecutive Wingbowl, defeating Deb by 17 games with only 16 left to play. Eric would like to thank himself for such a stellar last few weeks and bowl season, taking a 7 game lead and extending it to a 17 game win.  Eric now leads the Wingbowl for the first time since its inception, 17 years ago.

Here we are,

All tied up.  8-8.  After winning the first 4 Wingbowls, Deb has lost 8 out of the last 12.  Who will win this year?  Will Deb's new status as stay at home dad help his performance in the Wingbowl?  Will he spend his extra time rewatching old games and playing countless dynasties on NCAA 11?  Will he spend extra hours devising new strategies to beat the tidal wave of success that is Eric's recent performances?  Onward we go to Wingbowl 17!

Well.  Its finally happened.  We are all even.

Wingbowl XVI Begins!

Its that time again, Wingbowl XVI starts this week.  Wingbowl XV will be hard to top with the competition going down to two games that kept the outcome in doubt until the final whistle.  But alas, Eric prevailed.  With that victory, the series history is now 8-7 in favor of Deb.  Can Eric pull even this year and enjoy a delicious bounty of Jess Jess wings?  Or will Deb and his blue cheese prevail?  We shall see.
